My journey into Interior Design & Architecture began over 20 years ago when I discovered a love for Swiss graphic design. I find its purity and structure very inspiring and aim to relay this in my interior designs.
This discovery evolved into a fascination with furniture design, very much drawn to the American Modernist movement, and particularly designers such as Knoll & Eames. They have created beautifully crafted, timeless pieces of furniture - rich in function, beautiful in form. Neither one competes with the other.
In the last six years I was submerged into the realms of furniture & interior design, working with architects on large scale office construction and remodeling. This work drove me to study the fundamentals of Interior Design and Architecture at UC Berkeley and the New York Institute of Art & Design, and I was subsequently given a fantastic opportunity to start my own business in residential design.
Both Swiss graphic and Mid-Century modern design play a significant role in my creative output and I endeavor to embody their principles of form, functionality & timelessness into my residential work.
What makes good, timeless interior design is not its particular style but the cohesiveness in which a space is put together. My goal is to have every single item in your new space complement each other & your home beautifully, and to help you achieve that through our shared vision and my guiding principles.
